I decided not to fight it this morning. I have today and tomorrow left of days I can sleep as Friday I have my first class of the new year. 7 students. I plan to keep track this year in a spreadsheet. Why? Do I can add my billable hours myself at the end of the year plus exact revenue where I can. I just started it with Friday's class info. Name, number of students, estimated revenue, number of days. If I do this for the next six months I will have a better understanding of how much I making the company versus how much they are paying me. I still have no resolution on my 2017 salary negotiations. See, for those of you who work for normal companies where you have end of year reviews and COLA increases, I don't get any of that. Have to manually prod people. Sucks.

Got quite a bit done yesterday. A little more than half of what I wanted to accomplish. I should easily finish off the other parts today. That's the goal. This way I can have tomorrow open for whatever might come up unexpectedly.

Worked until about 1. I then decided to undertake a bit of a furniture project. The way the bedroom was I banged my leg on the end of the dresser every time I went to bed. I did some measuring and boom, I could move her dresser into the closet giving her a real 'walk in' closet setup. That took some work but I got it done. B had a doctor appointment and I finished it all up while she was gone.

When she got back, B and I went to Costco for some stuff. Damn if you can't spend $150 without even trying in there. But we got some good stuff including some allergy stuff for her which was $40 off the top. Got back, ate dinner, then we headed to Office Depot. Since we moved the dresser, we decided to replace it with a small desk for B. We needed something to put the bedroom Mac on, as well as some of the stuff that was on the dresser. We found a nice small black desk and chair for about $270. Not bad. Got back home around 7 and spent the next three hours assembling and setting everything up. It looks great. She is really happy because she now has her own space and I am happy because when I went to bed at 11:30, I didn't bang my leg on a dresser. Win.

That's about it. Pretty decent day for a Tuesday. Nothing horrible in the news yet. At least nothing new. Charles Manson is dying. Whatever. There's one we should have let die years ago. 40 years on the taxpayer's dime and now he is getting free medical treatment. If there's a thing I agree with conservatives on, it's that. Fuck this 'multiple life sentence' shit. Kill them. Or at least figure out how to not make them a burden to the average person. There has to be a better way. Cheeto Hitler did his usual childish shit picking another useless cabinet member. 17 days until WWIII. This should be fun.
