I am definitely of two minds this morning. On one hand it's nice to not have had to get up at 1am to head off to an airport and be there at 3 in the morning. On the other, I am anxious sitting around. My flight isn't until about 5pm tonight which means realistically I don't need to be at the airport until about 3pm. Even with allowing for 20 minutes of car drop off. Obviously I am not going to sit in the hotel until that late, but it is a bit refreshing to not have to rush. I land at PDX at 7:30 which isn't horribly late, but definitely later than I am used to getting home. So there's that side of it. Oh well. It's a non-stop flight and even without my upgrade it shouldn't be too horrible. I wonder if they posted an upgrade list yet. Let's look... Nope. I don't know where I am on the list. Too early. Oh well.
Class went well. This group was both good and bad for me. They had a lot of energy, asked a lot of questions, were very casual - all of which are good things for my style. They also drained the living shit out of me. Lot of energy expended. I was pretty dead when we finished at 5. Not a whole lot of excitement left in me. Got back to the hotel around 5:30 and was a zombie. Watched some TV and relaxed. Watched Justice League Dark yesterday. Excellent movie! Really really good. Once again the animated movies show how far superior they are to any of the live action movies. This one featured the paranormal side of the Justice League including Constantine, Zantana, Swamp Thing, and of course, Batsy. I tried watching Unfortunate Events but found I couldn't get into it. I will try one more to see if it was my state of mind or the show itself. I feel I may be too old for it. It just doesn't hold my attention.
Went to bed around 10. Tossed and turned a bit but overall managed to sleep well. The squishy pillows bother my neck a bit but otherwise, I'm okay. Breakfast soon, then, who knows. Kill time until about 10 or 11.
