Someone on the Facebook was "in shock" that Cheeto would try to appoint Betty DeVos to Education. Really? You're in shock that he appointed someone who has given $200 MILLION in donations? Puh-lease. And that's why you people are idiots.
I can't wait to go out of town. I need to get on the road. It's been a month and I am going stir crazy. At least the weather drastically changed yesterday. The temperature went up 20+ degrees, the wind started blowing, and the rains came. Washed away any trace of the snow. Kind of impressive how fast the snow is just not there. It's like we weren't covered in it at all. Maybe now UPS can get their shit together and get my packages that have all been delayed here. I don't know, maybe do your fucking job? There's something on order I was really hoping to take with me on this trip. I need this package here by Sunday night so I can pack.
Speaking of ordering things, we splurged a little yesterday. Both of us are tired of the cat galloping around the place. I ordered what is basically a giant hamster wheel for cats. Almost 4 feet tall. I watched a bunch of videos and it does seem to work without a whole lot of noise. That should be here Saturday.
Taught my class. We started early and finished a little early. Worked out for everyone. This group was pretty good. Smart folks. Now today I have 12 and I know some of them already and let's see it's going to be a rough two days. I had 13 students but one was internal and I figured they were going to drop out anyway. Fuck them.
We did a little furniture rearranging last night in prep for the wheel and the front room looks pretty good. I think B has a bit of cabin fever too. Plus she probably wants me out for a few days. Dangers of working from home folks.
Went to bed a little later than I would have liked and am paying for it right now. Feel a bit rushed, but I should be okay.
